Monument to Afghan War Veterans in Stavyshchensky Park

The monument was erected in 1997. It consists of a rectangular pedestal with a rectangular-shaped stele featuring a carved cross in the center. In 2012, granite elements with engraved portraits of the fallen soldiers were added to the sides.

The monument bears the inscription: "They perished while performing their international duty in the Republic of Afghanistan: Colonel Zhuk Viktor Yakovich, Private Denisovets Sergiy Ivanovich, Petrenko Petro Petrovich, Fedorenko Vitaliy Hryhorovych. Your glory is eternal. Your memory is eternal. 1979-1989"
