The "Zirka" ("Star") Cinema is the traditional name of this building, which is currently leased as a "youth entertainment center."
The district council adopted a decision on June 20, 1967, regarding the commissioning of a widescreen cinema in Stavyshche town.

Primary school teachers used to bring younger students here to watch cartoons, while older residents of Stavyshche came to see Indian dramas and other films produced by Soviet and foreign studios.

Since the beginning of independence, the cinema gradually fell into disrepair and was converted into a discotheque. The main entrance now houses the Tiesto café.
On June 24, 2018, an iconic sign saying "I Love Stavyshche" was installed near the cinema.
For the Catholic community of Stavyshche, the cinema location is considered sacred since it was once the site of a wooden church that was destroyed during the Khmelnytsky Uprising in 1768. In 1778, Count Ksaveri Branycki built a brick church in the late Baroque style — the Holy Trinity Church — on the same spot.
In 1922, all the church valuables were confiscated, and the church was closed in 1931. In 1936, it was completely demolished. The priest of the church, Albin Hutowski (1862-1935), and organist Anton Basinski (1890-1937) suffered repression.
